Stilla Noise

**Stilla Shum** is an American physical therapist who has studied the physiology of fatigue, as well as issues of human performance. He was one of the founders of the doctrine of measures to prevent and prevent fatigue and the most important occupational hazard - overwork.

According to Hippocrates, fatigue occurs with prolonged and severe stress in the body in its various organs and systems. Stilla divided the time of work and rest as the most important factor in the functioning of the body. In his opinion, during working hours there should be a so-called working phase, during which harmful changes can occur, which are then eliminated during rest hours.

From the book by K. Krestovnikov (Labor and wakefulness of workers. M., 1926) you can find out that Shum worked together with Nechiporenko 11. A. D., Sokolnikov and N. Z., Esin T. F., Zhekun I. I. Conducted physiological observations with medical students at the institute and Moscow State University and at the Lomonosov Chemical Institute.
