Polyneuritis Alcoholic

**Polyneuritis** is a state of alcoholic psychosis caused by consuming excessive amounts of alcohol. This condition is often characterized by several symptoms such as sleep disturbances, anxiety, restlessness, irritability, rapid heartbeat, memory loss, slurred speech and visual hallucinations. In some cases, patients may experience delirium, which is an extreme form of alcoholic psychosis and can lead to tragic consequences.
