Recapitulation rule

- American embryologist Richard Haldane (April 23, 1892 - July 5, 1964) in 1916 formulated the biogenetic law and derived the recapitulation rule for it.

*Law of embryonic species characteristics. The differences between embryos of the same species are which organs and tissues develop first.* Embryos in the developing egg have only the potential to become future adult organs. First, more general organs develop - nutritional, respiratory, protective. They are not strictly species specific and
