Premorbid state – (lat. praemorbida = state before illness). Premorbid is the symptomatic picture that we observe at the very beginning of the progression of the disease. At this moment, the first signs and symptoms already appear, which can be very diverse depending on the pathology. The body itself behaves as reactive. Premorbis, even before the development of a clear picture of the disease, a compensatory reaction is triggered, including an increase in the metabolic processes of organs and tissues. All of this is actively looking for ways to eliminate or hinder the development of this very pathological process. However, compensatory mechanisms are insufficient, and therefore, in general, this condition is unstable.
