Orthognathic bite

Orthognathic bite (*o* in the middle of the word) is a term from orthodox orthodontics. From a number of combinations of letters of Greek, Latin and Russian origin, Orthogyny is characterized by the correct ratio of the sizes of the dental arches, molars and premolars. Sjögren's triangles should be clearly visible - otherwise, facial asymmetry, upper frontal teeth that protrude too forward and narrow intermaxillary spaces may indicate an incorrect position of the dentition.
