Prohodol for children is a medicinal product that contains the active substance Paracetamol, which has an analgesic and antipyretic effect. The drug has the form of a suspension of 2.4%, intended for use in children from 6 years of age. The drug has the following indications for use: treatment of pain of mild to moderate intensity - headache, toothache, back pain and other types of pain; treatment of fever and colds.

Contraindications to the use of the drug are hypersensitivity to the active substance, impaired liver and kidney function, alcoholic diseases, children under 6 years of age.

It should be used with caution in patients with Gilbert's syndrome, with long-term use of an anticoagulant, and with liver cirrhosis. In case of an overdose of the drug, induce vomiting, use enterosorbents and seek medical help. The drug has a wide range of side effects - agranulocytosis, pale skin, loss of appetite, nausea and vomiting, liver damage, cardiac dysfunction, vascular collapse, diarrhea; allergic reactions in the form of skin rash, peeling, inflammation, itching; renal colic and aseptic anuria.
