Psychosis Involutional

Involutional type psychosis (or abbreviated as involutional psychosis or involutational mental disorder) is a serious illness that can affect people at any age, but usually occurs in older people. Psychosis can be a life-threatening disorder, and if not treated correctly in a timely manner, such people may be at risk of death. However, it is important to understand that involution is a natural process of aging, but involutional psychoses arise due to improper functioning of the brain and are accompanied by significant disorders of the mental state.

The main cause of involutional psychoses is considered to be disruption of the neuroglial systems. During normal human development, after birth and the rapid development of the nervous system, its growth continues throughout life. Although brain growth stops, glial cells continue to develop as we age, ensuring the functionality of the nervous system. These processes in the nervous system are interconnected, and there is a gene associated with the growth of neuroglia and their functions in the aging brain. If any element of this system does not work correctly, problems begin because due to the absence of glial cells, the normal functioning of the nervous system is disrupted, which becomes unable to control its own functions.

Presenial psychosis is, of course, not the same as dementia, for which it may serve as a predictor. This term refers to the occurrence of something that may pose a threat to the health and life of an elderly person. Typically, this disease develops in lonely elderly people in nursing homes, where there are medical conditions for the creation of this disease. On the other hand, we can say that a single disorder of brain development occurs mainly due to long-term use of alcohol or other substances that impair brain function. Such people suffer from apathy, depression, and causeless attacks of anxiety. Their memory and sensory organs are often impaired, and obsessive states appear in the form of hallucinations or disorders of consciousness caused by hallucinations of varying severity. Such psychotics tend to become deeply depressed when they often listen to audio recordings. In this case, processes are often disrupted,
