Pulse Soft

Pulse soft in medicine

**Soft pulse** (pulse mollis, lat.) - rhythmic vibration of the walls of arteries or veins of varying duration and amplitude. These vibrations are perceived by the skin in the form of pulsations. The diagnostic value of a soft pulsating rhythm is to determine their frequency, rhythm, shape, tension, completeness of filling, depending on the disease of the heart, blood vessels, diseases of the abdominal and pelvic organs (kidneys, liver, pancreas, stomach).

Symptomatology of soft pulse

General symptoms - symptoms that reflect the appearance of the patient - diagnostic sign - when pressing on the radial or femoral vessels of the superficial artery, the pulse wave bulges under pressure, which ultimately changes its direction and almost completely disappears from the artery

Modified ECG In the right corner of lead XII, its contours are restored within a few seconds - the so-called **pathological pulse of high filling** in combination with an upward shift of the ST segment and a decrease in the amplitude of the T wave. The interpretation of these manifestations is greatly simplified when studying other anatomical structures of the heart and its volumetric indicators, which are also determined by morphological and histochemical research methods.

These methods are also used to study certain physicochemical properties of various tissues and body fluids. Of these, the electrophoretic potential of erythrocytes is most often measured.
