Quim's Triad

The Kuimov triad is a concept proposed by Dmitry Kuimov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, in which he considers the main elements of an industrial management system - production, quality and management. These elements are considered the essential components of any manufacturing operation, and if one of them is missing or operating ineffectively, it can negatively impact the overall health of the enterprise. Therefore, for the successful functioning of a company, it is necessary to balance all three elements.

This approach gets its name from the mathematical formula that describes the relationship between these elements. It goes like this: (Product Quality x Time) / Production Costs = Management.

This formula suggests that if an enterprise controls product quality, reduces production time and optimizes costs, then its management will be more effective. Otherwise, a decrease in quality, longer deadlines and increased costs can lead to a drop in overall efficiency.

According to Kuimov, the goal of management should be to achieve a balance between quality, time and cost in order to achieve maximum productivity. This is especially important in today's highly competitive environment, when every aspect of production and service matters to the success of a business. The QUIM Triad concept helps businesses identify problem areas, optimize their operations, and achieve desired results in a timely manner.
