Travel story
If you go for a walk outside the city just the two of you with your child, then when you return home, invite him to give a lecture about the trip to the rest of the family after dinner. Let the child tell you what he remembers most, or just fantasize. You can ask him leading questions, but it’s better to observe what exactly sticks in his memory. The child can accompany the story by showing souvenirs, as well as drawings that he made after the trip.
Such joint travels and subsequent stories about them help the child develop speech and imagination. It is also a great way to strengthen relationships between family members and get to know each other better. After all, children often notice details that seem insignificant to adults. And if you give your child the opportunity to share his impressions of the trip, this will allow him to feel like a full participant in the family trip.
