Reverdena is a skin grafting technique to restore the epidermis (shell) and dermis (subcutaneous layer). The author, Italian Gerardo Lorente Reverdeni, dedicated it to the fashionable surgeon Giacomo Casanova (the method is mentioned in English literature in his honor).
Reverdena is an effective alternative in preparation for plastic surgery, as well as for rehabilitation after removal of part or all of the patient’s body. In the first case, the technique allows you to increase a person’s chances of normal functioning of sagging skin, which requires fixing bandages and wearing compression garments. In the second, it helps prevent the formation of scars and the formation of non-healing wounds after amputations, excision of tumors and other operations.
