Riboflavin Mononucleotide

Riboflabin Mononucleotide is a drug with an effect that stimulates metabolic processes in the body. It is characterized by a metabolic property that complements the effects of other B vitamins. The medication is used to treat eye diseases, some disorders of the digestive system, and skin diseases. The substance is available in the form of an injection solution. Contains riboflavin (vitamin B2) as the main active ingredient. The solutions contain ribonucleate solution 1%. In addition, the medicine contains: sodium citrate, water for injection, sodium hydrogen phosphate and sodium dihydrogen phosphate.

Indications

Treatment of hypo- and avitaminosis of vitamin B2, deficiency of which often occurs in diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. Including chronic gastritis, gastric and duodenal ulcers, when the level of vitamin B in food is sharply reduced. The drug is prescribed for various lesions of the oral mucosa - stomatitis, swallowing, itching of the lips in case of B2 deficiency or its increased consumption. Therapy with the solution is also recommended for superficial wounds, abscesses, trophic ulcers, gangrene, inflammatory processes in the cornea, jaundice of newborns, hemolytic jaundice caused by vitamin B12 deficiency. Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the substances of the drug; the presence of phosphate stones in the kidneys. The patient must also have no signs of hypersensitivity to other allergens, as determined by skin testing.
