Chemical composition:

  1. urea - urea, mainly obtained synthetically. In a small concentration, it moisturizes the skin well and has an exfoliating effect. In high concentrations it causes inflammation on the skin. Refers to "good" ingredients. Urea is part of the natural moisturizing factor, that is, it is present in human skin. Captures water molecules and holds them in the skin. Due to the very small size of the molecules, it is a good conductor of other biologically active substances into the skin.
  2. ethylhexyl cocoate - refers to emollients, softens the skin. Obtained from coconut oil by esterification of ethylhexanol and coconut acid. Contains essential fatty acids, restores the skin barrier, improves the condition of dry skin. Safe when applied to the skin, classified as a “good” ingredient.
  3. glycerin is considered one of the best cosmetic ingredients. It consists of natural lipids of plant or animal origin, obtained by hydrolysis of fatty acids and subsequent fermentation of their sugars. May also be of synthetic origin. It is considered a component identical to skin cells and a restorative ingredient.
  4. cyclopentasiloxane - belongs to the class of silicones, facilitates the application and distribution of the cream over the skin, gives the skin a silky feeling, and forms a water-repellent film on the skin. The statement that silicones are comedogenic and “don’t allow the skin to breathe” is a myth, unsubstantiated.
  5. dimethicone is a chemically inert silicone chemical. Gives the skin softness and velvety, ensures the cream glides over the skin and makes it easier to apply, prevents irritation and redness of the skin, creates a light film on the surface of the skin that does not interfere with skin breathing. Used in plastic surgery for the manufacture of implants. Despite the fact that it creates a film on the skin, it is non-comedogenic (does not clog pores).
  6. propylene glycol is a petroleum product obtained by hydration of propylene oxide. It has all the properties of glycols and is a universal humectant. Its other name is Propane-1,2-diol and dipropylene glycol. Widely used in cosmetics as a humectant, skin conditioner, solvent and oil carrier, increases the viscosity of the cosmetic product. Also widely used in the food industry as additive E1520. It is included in toothpaste, deodorants, lipsticks, hair care products, tobacco products, and is used in industry as antifreeze. In the body it decomposes to lactic acid. Approved by CIR and FDA as a non-toxic ingredient in cosmetics.
  7. nylon-12 is a synthetic powder that is used as an adsorbent and thickening agent. Non-toxic to skin, classified as “good” ingredients.
  8. centaurea cyanus flower extract - cornflower or gentian extract, has anti-inflammatory properties.
  9. calendula officinalis flower extract - calendula flower extract. Anti-inflammatory, antibacterial effect, antioxidant. Refers to "good" ingredients. However, people who are allergic to similar flowers should not use this extract due to the risk of developing eczema.
  10. behenoxy dimethicone is a mixture of fatty behenyl alcohol and silicone - dimethicone. Behenyl alcohol is used as an emollient and thickener, and dimethicone is used to soften the skin and improve the distribution of the cream over the skin surface. "Good" ingredient.
  11. butylene glycol - retains moisture in the surface layers of the skin, is an emulsifier and surfactant, and promotes deeper penetration of other active ingredients of cosmetics.
  12. vitis vinifera seed oil - grape seed oil, one of the best cosmetic ingredients, softens the skin (emollient), rich in antioxidants.
  13. methylsilanol carboxymethyl theophylline alginate is a product of the interaction of Methylsilanol Carboxymethyl Theophylline and Alginic Acid. It is believed to improve skin condition, but there is no data on its effectiveness.
  14. elaeis guineensis oil is a solid vegetable oil obtained from palm nuts. Used to thicken the emulsion. Rich source of vitamin E, antioxidants, carotenoids. Strengthens the skin barrier, softens the skin. One of the best cosmetic ingredients.
  15. cocos nucifera oil - coconut oil, one of the best cosmetic ingredients. Source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, emollient.
  16. butyrospermum parkii butter - shea butter, or shea butter. One of the best cosmetic ingredients, rich in antioxidants and fatty acids. Softens and moisturizes the skin, restores the natural moisturizing factor on the skin surface.
  17. brassica campestris seed oil - raspberry seed oil, odorless, is one of the best cosmetic ingredients. A rich source of antioxidants, polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6), softens the skin and restores the skin barrier.
  18. malva sylvestris extract - mallow extract, has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Softens the skin.
  19. paraffinum liquidum, sucrose cocoate, sorbitan stearate, cyclohexasiloxane, microcristallina cera, methylparaben, carbomer, helianthus annuus seed oil, paraffin, parfum, sodium hydroxide, acrylates/ C 10-30 alkyl acrylate crosspolymer, allantoin, olea europaea fruit oil, tetrasodium edta, tocopheryl acetate, xanthan gum, propylparaben, butylparaben, zea mays oil, retinyl palmitate, ethylparaben, ricinus communis seed oil, macadamia ternifolia seed oil, corylus avellana seed oil, carthamus tinctorius seed oil, bht, simmondsia chinensis seed oil, triticum vulgare germ oil , prunus persica kernel oil, prunus armeniaca kernel oil, pistacia vera seed oil, persea grantissima oil, oryza sativa germ oil, mangifera indica seed oil, juglans regia seed oil, gossypium herbaceum seed oil, camellia oleifera seed oil, rosa canina fruit oil, oenothera biennis oil, limnanthes alba seed oil, gevuina avellana seed oil, carapa guaianensis seed oil, camelina sativa seed oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, anacardium occidentale seed oil, phenoxyethanol, sodium methylparaben.

Conclusion:

Yves Rocher cosmetics have created a truly luxurious cream composition for skin prone to dryness - healthy oils are intelligently combined with emollients, moisturizers and silicones.

Together, they restore the damaged skin barrier, moisturize and nourish the skin, fight the first signs of skin aging and smooth out wrinkles.

I would not recommend this cream only for mature skin and indicate ages from 40 years. On the contrary, such a rich cream is best used for dry skin types, especially in the cold season, as a means of preventing the formation of early wrinkles.

The downside is that such a valuable product is packaged in a jar (not hygienic, reduces the activity of antioxidants). There is a fragrance, but in small quantities - it is unlikely to harm the skin.

Rating - good (only because of the shape of the packaging, the composition is excellent)))

Cosmetics Yves Rocher – Beneficial Anti-Wrinkle Night Cream

The set of the Beneficial Nutrition Program for the face and eyes includes a night cream - it intensively nourishes and restores the skin while you sleep.

Yves Rocher cosmetics make the same advertising promises for both night cream and day cream. Let's look at the composition:

Chemical composition:

  1. butylene glycol, dimethicone - humectant and silicone, see above.
  2. petrolatum - obtained from petroleum fractions, is a mixture of paraffin, ceresin and petroleum jelly. Emollient, that is, softens the skin. But, unfortunately, it leaves a film on the skin that is difficult to wash off and can cause clogging of pores and aggravation of acne.
  3. methylpropanediol, ethylhexyl stearate, vitis vinifera, elaeis guineensis, cocos nucifera, brassica campestris - see above.
  4. stearate 21 is a salt of stearic fatty acid, an emollient that makes the skin surface very smooth. . Due to its affinity with the lipids of the skin barrier, it does not irritate even sensitive skin and softens the skin.
  5. propylene glycol, ethylhexyl cocoate, urea - see above.
  6. helianthus annuus - sunflower oil, one of the most beneficial ingredients for the skin. Softens the skin due to its high content of fatty acids, including linoleic acid, restores damaged skin barrier and reduces inflammation.
  7. lecithin - lecithin is a phospholipid found in egg yolk and is part of the membranes of plant and animal cells. A very valuable cosmetic ingredient. Restores damaged cell membranes, is widely used in cosmetics as an emollient and water-saving agent. Restores natural moisturizing factor on the skin surface.
  8. Parfum, Olea Europaea, Ethyl Linoleate, Methylparaben, Zea Mays, Xanthan Gum, Retinil Palmitate, Panthenol, Allantoin, Carthamus Tinctorius, Corylusavellana, Ricinus ComeMunis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadaminis, Macadam Ia Ternifolia, Simmondsia Chinensis, Tocopheryl Acetate, Sorbic Acid, Glicine Soja, Triticum Vulgare, Prunus persica, prunus armeniaca, pistacia vera, persea gratissima, oryza sativa, mangifera indica, juglans regia, gossypium, camellia oleifera, ethylparaben, BHT, propylparaben, rosa mosheta, oenothera biennis, limnanthes alba, gevuna avellana, carapa guaianensis, camelina sativa, argania spinosa, anacardium occidentale, butylparaben, tetrasodium edta, sodium hydroxide.

Conclusion:

Yves Rocher cosmetics simply created a denser version of the day cream)) The density of the cream is given by petrolatum - a mixture of petroleum jelly, paraffin and ceresin obtained by refining petroleum.

Only for very dry skin.

The downside is that the product is packaged in a jar; presence of fragrances is insignificant. May be comedogenic, so not suitable for combination to oily skin.

Cosmetics Yves Rocher – Beneficial Anti-Wrinkle Cream for Eye Contour

Yves Rocher cosmetics are no different here either!

It is clear that the product is intended for caring for the skin around the eyes, but its description almost completely coincides with the description of the day and night cream from the Beneficial Nutrition Program for the Face and Eyes.

Chemical composition:

Urea, Ethylhexyl Cocoate, Glycerin, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, Nylon-12, Malva Silvestris, Centaurea Cyanus, Calendula Officinalis, Behenoxy Dimethicone, Anthemis Nobillis, Petrolatum, Butylene Glycol, Vitis Vinifera, Methylsilanol Carboxymethyl Theophylline Alginate, Elaeis Guineensis, Cocos Nucifera, Butyrosperrmum Parkii, Brassica Campestris, Sucrose Cocoate, Sorbitan Stearate, Cyclohexasiloxane, Methylparaben, Carbomer, Helianthus Annuus, Parfum, Sodium Hydroxide, Acrylates/C-10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Allantoin, Olea Europaea, Tetrasodium Edta, Tocopferyl Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Propylparaben, Butylparaben, Zea Mays, Retinyl Palmitate, Ethylparaben, Ricinus Commonis, Macadamia Ternifolia seed oil, Corylus Avellana, Carthamus Tinctorius, Bht, Simmondsia Chinensis, Triticum Vulgare, Prunus Persica, Prunus Armeniaca, Pistacia Vera, Persea Gratissima, Oryza Sativa, Mangifera Indica, Royal Junglans, Gossypium, Camellia Oleifera, Bht, Butylparaben, Rosa Muschata, Oenothera Biennis, Limnanthes Alba, Gevuina Avellana, Carapa Guaianensis, Camelina Sativa, Argania Spinosa, Western Cashew

Conclusion:

Yves Rocher cosmetics did not excel in the formulation of the eye cream!

The composition of the eye cream is very similar to the composition of the day cream from the same line of products. Therefore, there is no need to buy a separate product for this area; you can use a day cream.

Yves Rocher cosmetics continues to delight us with products for the care of dry skin, and in this article I will analyze the composition of the elixir and regenerating cream.

Yves Rocher Cosmetics – Beauty Elixir of 100% Botanical Origin Riche Creme

Yves Rocher cosmetics presents:

Serum with a unique light and oily texture is the first stage of skin care after cleansing, preparing it for the application of basic care.

A unique formula consisting of 100% ingredients of plant origin, nourishes, intensively restores the skin and restores its natural radiance thanks to 30 Valuable Oils enriched with Oil of 1000 Roses.

Bottle with pipette 30 ml.

Chemical composition:

  1. Isododecane - used as a solvent, it facilitates the distribution of products over the skin, while leaving the skin feeling light and clean. Prevents the evaporation of water from the surface of the skin. Non-toxic.
  2. Brassica Campestris - raspberry seed oil, odorless, is one of the best cosmetic ingredients. A rich source of antioxidants, polyunsaturated fatty acids (omega-3 and omega-6), softens the skin and restores the skin barrier.
  3. Paraffinum Liquidum is petroleum jelly, a product of petroleum distillation, its purified fraction, which does not contain harmful substances and compounds. To be fair, it must be said that oil is a natural product, and Vaseline is still considered by surgeons and dermatologists today to be the best moisturizer. It creates an airtight film on the surface of the skin that prevents the evaporation of water from the surface of the skin and is called occlusion. Widely used in the treatment of excessive dry skin due to dermatitis and neurodermatitis. It is an essential component of any emulsion and therefore is so often found in cosmetics. One of the serious disadvantages of Vaseline is that it makes the skin too oily; if you use only pure Vaseline, then the skin under its layer “does not breathe”, can macerate, and against this background, a secondary infection may occur. Therefore, for those with oily skin, the use of products with a high concentration of petroleum jelly is not recommended.
  4. Ethylhexyl Cocoate is an emollient that softens the skin. Obtained from coconut oil by esterification of ethylhexanol and coconut acid. Contains essential fatty acids, restores the skin barrier, improves the condition of dry skin. Safe when applied to the skin, classified as a “good” ingredient.
  5. Vitis Vinifera - grape seed oil, one of the best cosmetic ingredients, softens the skin (emollient), rich in antioxidants.
  6. Hydrogenated Styrene / Isoprene Copolymer - a polymer that controls the viscosity of the drug.
  7. Helianthus Annuus - sunflower oil, one of the most beneficial ingredients for the skin. Softens the skin due to its high content of fatty acids, including linoleic acid, restores damaged skin barrier and reduces inflammation.
  8. Olea Europaea - olive oil. Rich in essential fatty acids such as oleic, palmitic, linolenic. Has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant properties.
  9. Elaeis Guineensis is a hard vegetable oil obtained from palm nuts. Used to thicken the emulsion. Rich source of vitamin E, antioxidants, carotenoids. Strengthens the skin barrier, softens the skin. One of the best cosmetic ingredients.
  10. Cocos Nucifera - coconut oil, one of the best cosmetic ingredients. Source of polyunsaturated fatty acids, emollient.
  11. Zea Mays - corn oil, emollient. One of the best cosmetic ingredients.
  12. Parfum is a synthetic fragrance that can cause skin irritation.
  13. Ricinus Communis - castor oil, an emollient, creates a film on the surface of the skin that prevents moisture loss. A little sticky. "Good" ingredient.
  14. Macadamia Ternifolia - macadamia nut oil, a valuable cosmetic ingredient. Used to soften very dry skin.
  15. Ethyl Linoleate is an ester of ethyl alcohol and linolenic fatty acid. Fragrance, emollient. May cause irritation to sensitive skin.
  16. Corylus Avellana (Hazel) Seed Oil - hazelnut (hazel, hazelnut) oil, emollient, restores natural moisturizing factor. "Good" ingredient.
  17. Carthamus Tinctorius (Safflower) Seedcake Oil is one of the best ingredients. Very useful when taken orally as it is rich in antioxidants. Effectiveness when applied to the skin has not been demonstrated by research. Safflower oil is rich in essential fatty acids, especially linolenic acid, so it can help restore damaged skin barrier and is indicated for dry skin.
  18. Simmondsia Chinensis, Juglans Regia, Mangifera Indica, Gossypium Herbaceum, Triticum Vulgare, Prunus Armeniaca, Prunus Persica, Camellia Oleifera, Pistacia Vera, Persea Gratissima, Oryza Sativa, Myrtus Communis, Pelargonium Graveolens, Retinyl Palmitate, Tocopheryl Acetate, Benzyl Benzoate, Rosa Moschata , Oenothera Biennis, Limnanthes Alba, Gevuina Avellana, Geraniol, Cymbopogon Martini, Carapa Guaianensis, Camelina Sativa, Argania Spinosa, Anacardium Occidentale, Butylparaben, Bht, Citronellol, Butylphenyl Methylpropional, Linalool, Limonene, Hydroxyisohexyl 3-Cyclohexene Carboxaldehy de, Hexyl Cinnamal, Farnesol , Citral

Conclusion:

Yves Rocher cosmetics created a very good oil for dry skin, if not for the company’s love for synthetic fragrances)))

Rich in valuable oils that can restore the damaged skin barrier, replenish the loss of skin lipids, make the skin soft, tender and elastic. Vegetable oils are helped by skin-friendly emollients; together they combine very well and complement each other.

Vaseline oil will create a film on the surface of the skin that prevents water evaporation.

Cons - many synthetic fragrances that can irritate sensitive skin; packaging in a bottle with a pipette does not provide sufficient sealing and oils may oxidize during long-term storage.

The product is suitable for caring for very dry skin of the face and other areas of the body (hands, for example). You can take a few drops and mix them with your night or day cream. It is better not to apply pure oil to the skin to avoid the effect of drying out the skin.

Rating: good. Not for sensitive skin.

Yves Rocher Cosmetics – Riche Cream Grand Soin Regenerant

Yves Rocher cosmetics promises us with the help of this cream to provide deep comprehensive nutrition and skin restoration.

A luxurious nourishing cream for deep skin restoration, day and night. The cream nourishes and intensively regenerates the skin thanks to 30 Valuable Oils enriched with Oil of 1000 Roses.

The enveloping, rich and melting texture leaves the skin smooth and silky. Day after day, wrinkles are smoothed out, the skin becomes softer, and it regains its feeling of comfort.

Chemical composition:

  1. glycerin is considered one of the best cosmetic ingredients. It consists of natural lipids of plant or animal origin, obtained by hydrolysis of fatty acids and subsequent fermentation of their sugars. May also be of synthetic origin. It is considered a component identical to skin cells and a restorative ingredient.
  2. dimethicone is a chemically inert silicone chemical. Gives the skin softness and velvety, ensures the cream glides over the skin and makes it easier to apply, prevents irritation and redness of the skin, creates a light film on the surface of the skin that does not interfere with skin breathing.
  3. butylene glycol - retains moisture in the surface layers of the skin, is an emulsifier and surfactant, and promotes deeper penetration of other active ingredients of cosmetics.
  4. vitis vinifera seed oil - see above.
  5. propylene glycol is a petroleum product obtained by hydration of propylene oxide. However, the Cosmetics Database found increased mutagenic activity of propylene glycol in in vitro experiments, but did not confirm concerns that the use of propylene glycol could cause cancerous degeneration of cells (1981). And the National Library of Medicine recognized propylene glycol as a skin irritant, but noted that skin irritation was found only in patients with allergic dermatitis, eczema, and at concentrations greater than 2% in the drug. Propylene glycol enhances the ability of other cosmetic ingredients to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin; unfortunately, this ability is also relevant in relation to toxins. Propylene glycol should not be applied to damaged skin. Despite all the hype, it is considered a safe ingredient in cosmetics and food products.
  6. isododecane, elaeis gueneensis oil, cocos nucifera oil, brassica campestris seed oil - see above.
  7. steareth-2 - like other representatives of this group of ingredients, differing only in the numbers at the end of the word, it is a mixture of polyethylene glycols and stearic acid esters. They have a waxy substance. In cosmetics they are included in lipsticks, sunscreens, deodorants, hand and face skin care products. Emulsifiers create homogeneity of the emulsion. The CIR Expert Panel and The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) consider them to be absolutely safe ingredients in cosmetics.
  8. cyclopentasiloxane - belongs to the class of silicones, facilitates the application and distribution of the cream over the skin, gives the skin a silky feeling, and forms a water-repellent film on the skin. The statement that silicones are comedogenic and “don’t allow the skin to breathe” is a myth, unsubstantiated.
  9. glyceryl stearate is an emulsifier, after its use the skin becomes smooth to the touch. It is most often obtained from palm, vegetable and soybean oil. It is considered a component identical to skin. Easily penetrates the skin, restores damaged skin barrier, softens the skin and protects the epidermis from moisture loss. Reduces stickiness and “heaviness” of cosmetics enriched with oils. Approved by the FDA and The Cosmetic Ingredient Review as a safe ingredient in cosmetics.
  10. steareth-21 is a surfactant, emulsion stabilizer, which promotes deeper penetration of other cosmetic ingredients.
  11. ethylhexyl cocoate, paraffinum liquidum, stearyl alcohol, microcristallina cera, helianthus annuus seed oil, paraffin, parfum, olea europaea fruit oil, ethyl linoleate, methylparaben, zea mays oil, xanthan gum, carthamus tinctorius oil, corylus avellana nut oil, ricinus communis oil , macadamia ternifolia seed oil, simmondsia chinensis oil, tocopheryl acetate, retinyl palmitate, sorbic acid, lecithin, glycine soja sterol, triticum vulgare germ oil, prunus persica kernel oil, prunus armeniaca kernel oil, pistacia vera seed oil, persea grantissima oil, oryza sativa germ, mangifera indica seed oil, juglans regia seed oil, gossypium herbaceum seed oil, camellia oleifera seed oil, ethylparaben, BHT, propylparaben, rosa canina fruit oil, oenothera biennis oil, limnanthes alba seed oil, gevuina avellana seed oil, carapa guaianensis seed oil, camelina sativa seed oil, argania spinosa kernel oil, anacardium occidentale seed oil, butylparaben, tetrasodium edta, sodium hydroxide.

Conclusion:

Yves Rocher cosmetics offers an excellent nourishing cream with almost the same composition for all products in the Riche Creme line.

Due to surfactants and emulsifiers, it really ensures deep penetration of ingredients into the skin.

It's a shame that the product is packaged in a jar. There are also synthetic fragrances, but they are few.

The cream is suitable for caring for dry skin of the face, hands, and during the cold season.

Beauty & MakeUp Lover's Magazine

One of Yves Rocher's new fall products was this unusual highlighter cream. Firstly, this is an anti-aging Riche Crème line, and secondly, this is not a full-fledged care. And thirdly, the cream has a rich golden glow! So why do you need such a tool at all? I was so interested in figuring it out that I started this particular bottle literally the next day after I received it.

When a product appears that is positioned as a care product, but has decorative properties, you get a little lost. There are face creams and matching bases with reflective particles, which won’t surprise anyone. They moisturize the skin and diffuse light, smoothing the skin texture. When the cream contains reflective particles, it can be used independently. Yes, this is purely a visual bonus. When it’s a makeup base, there are no questions at all. But this product is presented in the anti-aging care line and contains a large number of golden particles. Moreover, it has a pearl shimmer, only in gold. Unusual for care. I haven't tried anything like this before.

Let's figure it out. I use care (serum, cream, etc.) immediately after the shower. There I cleanse the skin and then apply treatment. As a complete treatment, this cream does not work for me. I need hydration. Yes, it is comfortable, absorbs quickly, makes the skin elastic and smoothes out flaking. But my dehydrated skin also needs some kind of shock serum, since a regular moisturizer gives me more comfort. Also, after this cream, a noticeable golden tint remains on the skin. An atypical choice for a European girl. Such radiance needs to be covered with something.

Then maybe you need to use it after the cream, before makeup? Again, it absorbs like a cream. Do you apply the cream on top of the cream? Me not. I prefer to use a primer after skincare (after a while, when I start doing makeup), which will also fill in uneven skin and even out the texture. The same product leaves only a glow. And if I used a thick cream, then there was also fat content.

However, I liked the cream once I realized when it was appropriate. To begin with, let’s discard the fact that it came out in the anti-aging line. It contains healthy ingredients that I understand are used in this series. It really conditions the skin and gives a rich golden glow that begs to be covered up. If you are the type of person who uses low maintenance or uses face cream as a makeup base, then this is the perfect product. It nourishes and tightens the skin, gives the skin a radiance that softly illuminates through foundation or powder. It just caused some dissonance in my routine specifically. This is because I always have a time gap between care and makeup, and it is better to apply the tone immediately after using it. Anyone with normal or dry skin will definitely like the cream, as it is comfortable and refreshing. It does not leave obvious golden spots or streaks, so it is suitable even for fair-skinned people. Also, the cream will appeal to those with aging skin that needs to be refreshed; this is a much more delicate option than highlighters. In addition, the powder on it does not emphasize flaking, and the foundation holds well. It can also be mixed with foundation for a lighter and more radiant coverage (although I haven’t carried out such experiments for a long time). I can sum up that this is an interesting and unusual product, I use it with pleasure, and if you apply the cream not only as a treatment, but also as a base for makeup, then this is definitely your option.
