Rigevidon

Rigevidone is a combination oral contraceptive drug that is used to prevent pregnancy in women. The drug is produced in Hungary and belongs to the group of combined oral contraceptives.

The main manufacturers of the drug are the Gedeon Richter company, which is one of the largest drug manufacturers in Europe. The international name of Rigevidon is Ethinylestradil + Norgestrel.

The drug is presented in the form of film-coated tablets with a dosage of 30 mcg/150 mcg. The tablets contain two main active ingredients - norgestrel and ethinyl estrol.

The main indications for the use of Rigevidondl are pregnancy prevention (before abortion, before IVF), as well as postpartum use to prevent complications during breastfeeding.

Contraindications: tumors, tendency to thromboembolic diseases, retinal detachment, liver cirrhosis
