RUBROMYCOSIS
Rubromycosis is a fungal disease of the skin and hair caused by various types of microscopic fungi from the genus Malassezia.
The feeling that scales are falling off the surface of the skin is not accidental - this is how they are rejected in the affected areas. As the fungus multiplies, the microvesicles merge together, a papule is formed, and then a vesicle, which forms a characteristic crust, which in no case should be injured or opened. The disease is also accompanied by itching. In most cases, symptoms appear on the scalp and may be accompanied by minor hair loss. Recovery occurs after several weeks or months. Although the disease is considered benign, it requires additional examination and consultation with specialists.
