Salicylic ointment is a medicine based on salicylic acid that has antiseptic, keratolytic and anti-inflammatory effects.

Salicylic ointment is produced in Russia by such companies as Nizhpharm, Retinoids, Tver Pharmaceutical Factory, Pharmstandard-Fitofarm NN, Fitofarm-NN and Yaroslavl Pharmaceutical Factory.

Salicylic ointment is available in concentrations of 2%, 3%, 5%, 10% and 4%. The composition includes the active substance - salicylic acid.

Indications for use: wounds, burns, oily seborrhea, acne, eczema, psoriasis, ichthyosis, warts, calluses.

Contraindications: hypersensitivity, children's age.

Possible side effects: fever, pain at the application site.

Before use, you should consult your doctor. Salicylic ointment should not be applied to large areas of skin due to the possibility of developing salicylicism.
