Sapphism

Sapphism is a philosophical, literary and cultural-erotic tradition that originated in Ancient Greece and is associated with the name of the poetess Sappho. The name comes from the Greek word "sappheiros" - "emerald", because Sappho has many references to the color green in poetry.

The meaning of this tradition is that women's bodies are opposed to men's, they are exalted, they are given special significance. This can be seen in her poetry, where the main themes are love, beauty, femininity
