Sarcoma Periadventitial

Periadventitial sarcoma is a malignant tumor that develops from the tissue surrounding blood vessels. It can affect any vessels, but most often occurs in the vessels of the lower extremities.

Periadventitial sarcoma usually presents with pain in the legs, swelling and redness of the skin over the affected vessel. Over time, the tumor can grow into surrounding tissue and cause serious complications such as bleeding, thrombosis, and even limb amputation.

Various methods are used to diagnose periadventitial sarcoma, including ultrasound, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging. Treatment for sarcoma includes surgical removal of the tumor, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy. However, despite all modern treatment methods, periadventitial sarcoma remains one of the most severe and intractable tumors.
