Savrinjan - colchicum

Essence.
These are the roots of the plant with white and yellow flowers that bloom as soon as the flowers on the mountain slopes and hills bloom. Its leaves spread along the ground.

Choice.
The best of them are white outside and inside, hard, brittle; red and black are bad.

Nature.
Hot, dry to the second degree; it contains excess moisture. Some argue that white savrinjan has a slight warmth, while other types have a strong warmth, because otherwise it would be lax. Others say that if it were hot, it would definitely burn, especially the ulcers, while there is no burning sensation in it at all, and others, finally, believe that it is very hot.
