Schwartz Triangle

Greetings to all! Today I would like to tell you about a famous man who changed the world of medicine and helped save millions of lives - Georg Schwarz. His name first became known to a wider audience only in 2013, but in fact, Georg Schwarz was not a newcomer to science.

Schwartz triangle with a diagnosis of severe expansion of the skull is called "Schwartz triangle."

Schwartz Triangle is a skull shape that arises as a complication of craniosynostosis. It is manifested by the divergence of the suture at the junction of the parietal and frontal bones, as well as the opening of the large foramen. The main symptom of CT is hypertension of the muscles of the cranial vault, better known as “erysipelas.” A crack in the forehead or behind a large fontanel is often a noticeable symptom. X-ray studies show that the patient's skull is a triangle with a base directed downwards and widened at the top. The edges of this triangle form the extensions of the seams. In some cases, a hyperflat skull shape may be formed.

The reasons for the appearance of head deformation remain unstudied, but it has been established that the degree of manifestation of the syndrome is influenced by such factors as prematurity of the fetus and early form of its birth. Heredity also plays an important role in the formation of symptoms.

The most severe manifestation of CT can be difficult childbirth, leading to severe compression of the head. Their consequence is the fusion of four sutures along the entire length, starting with the occipital and ending with the sagittal.

Diagnosing CT does not cause difficulties for doctors, since this form is typical for patients with other abnormalities in the structure of the head. Dia
