The seahorse is a species of marine fish that lives in the Atlantic Ocean, the northern and southern hemispheres of the Pacific Ocean, the Mediterranean Sea and the northern Indian Ocean.

The seahorse is oval in shape and looks like a small horse, hence its name. Adult seahorses have a body length of 20 to 50 centimeters and live at depths of 18 to 300 meters. The horse feeds on small crustaceans, squids and other marine organisms.
