Shawna Syndrome

Shawn syndrome

Shawn syndrome is a heart disease described by modern American cardiologist J.D. Sean.

The main signs of Shawn syndrome:

  1. Pain and discomfort in the chest, especially during physical activity
  2. Shortness of breath and rapid heartbeat
  3. Increased fatigue and weakness
  4. Dizziness and fainting

The causes of Shawn syndrome are not completely clear. Presumably, it develops due to coronary circulatory disorders and myocardial ischemia.

Diagnosis is based on ECG, echocardiography, and coronary angiography. Treatment includes drug therapy, often requiring surgery such as angioplasty or coronary artery bypass grafting.

The prognosis for Shawn syndrome is generally serious; careful monitoring by a cardiologist and adherence to treatment recommendations are required. Timely diagnosis and adequate therapy can significantly improve the quality of life of patients.
