Hose Symptom is a symptom of cardiovascular pathology in the form of pronounced dilatation of the left ventricle and apex of the heart, which often occurs with exudative pericarditis or after a myocardial infarction. Symptoms are also observed in Lenegra disease (disease of a twisted aortic ring), diffuse degenerative diseases of the heart muscle. The main diagnostic method is chest radiography in two projections; in addition, echocardiography can be used. If the diagnosis is confirmed, treatment is carried out jointly by a cardiologist and a surgeon. The main directions of therapy are restoration of myocardial contractility, elimination of hemodynamic disorders and removal of fluid from the pericardium.
