"Sigala-Cattana-Mama Disease": a historical perspective on a new disease.
Currently, there is a significant increase in the incidence of various diseases. One of these diseases is Sigala Kattana Mamb Disease - a previously unknown but pressing problem for humanity. Its symptoms and causes were first described by Canadian endocrinologist Nicholas Mamou and French physician Raoul Cantan at the beginning of the twentieth century. Nicholas Mamou (born 1884) was one of the first endocrinologists in France. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Strasbourg and continued his career at Notre Dame Hospital. After that, he moved to the United States, where he worked at the Mayo Clinic in Minnesota. He was a very famous scientist in his field of medicine and became one of the founders of endocrinology as a science. Raoul Cantana (1874-1951) was a French philosopher and physician, a student of the famous psychiatrist Eugene Murgeau. In 1950, Cantana was awarded the Legion of Honor for his medical career. He was also the author of several books on psychiatry. The history of the appearance of this disease is quite interesting. It was originally a type of influenza.
