Sign Language

Sign language is a unique way of communication in which information is transmitted through gestures and facial expressions. This language is used by people with hearing and speech impairments. It allows them to fully communicate and express their thoughts.

Introduce your child to this amazing language. Tell him that people can communicate not only with words, but also with their hands. Show simple gestures of greeting, farewell, and expressing emotions. Together with your child, come up with special gestures for your family. This will be your secret code!

If your child is interested, find books about sign language in the library. Learn a few basic phrases: “I love you”, “Good night”, “Pleasant dreams”. Surprise your child by using gestures to say, “What are we having for lunch?”

Make this a fun game for the whole family. And most importantly, the child will understand that there are different ways of communication and learn to appreciate them.
