Silicoarthritis

Silicoarthritis is a disease from the group of inflammatory and degenerative-dystrophic diseases of the joints, caused by occupational factors. The name of the disease comes from the Latin word “crystals”, which refers to the synovial fluid of the joint. Synonyms: microcrystalline arthropathy, microcrystalline syndrome. Arthritis and arthrosis are completely different diseases in their development. The second name is not associated with damage to the joint, its name is simply identical to the name of the rheumatic process - arthritis.
