The symptom of a neuritenic (neurasthenic) mask is a psychoneurological symptom that is expressed in an increased response to the outside world and sensitivity to irritants. Unlike ordinary neurasthenia, neurosis is manifested by increased emotionality and fatigue quickly develops. The symptom of neuritenic masks is characteristic of diseases such as:
