Syndrome Catatonic Late

Early catatonic syndrome is a clinical syndrome characterized by the presence of symptoms characteristic of catatonic and involutional (gerontological) syndromes in young and middle-aged people (up to 45 years). Study of S. k.r. is possible only by analyzing the changes occurring in the sphere of the subconscious in the process of human mental activity. Catatonic involution syndrome is a neurological symptom complex resulting from a gradual transition from a state of extreme inversion of paranoid symptoms to a more labile form of paranoia. The syndrome often develops in elderly patients suffering from various brain diseases.

Late catatonic syndrome is a rare mental illness that manifests itself in the form of disturbances in movement, speech, behavior and thinking. At the same time, the patient may experience a feeling of alienation from the outside world and lose contact with reality. The cause of the syndrome is age-related involution. This means that changes occur in all body systems over time.
