Peroneal Nerve Syndrome

Peroneal syndrome is a disorder of the central nervous system. It is characterized by symptoms that include difficulty moving the legs, weakness, and problems standing and walking. In some cases, people may have difficulty moving their hips and buttocks, and may also experience pain in their shoulders, arms, or neck. There may be manifestations of peripheral paralysis of a small size of the tibia in the legs, and changes in the knee joint are also possible. Often this symptom is caused by nerve injuries associated with rapid lifting of heavy loads.

Causes . Other than trauma, conditions such as cerebral palsy may be the cause.
