Sinuforte

Sinufort is a drug used for acute or chronic recurrent inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, most often sinusitis. It contains lyophilisate of extracts of the medicinal plant Cyclamen europaea, which has an antimicrobial effect and helps cleanse the sinus passages.

Manufacturers of Sinufort are Iveriapharm (Georgia). The drug is produced in the form of a lyophilisate for the preparation of an aqueous solution for intracavitary administration.

Indications for taking Sinufort include acute or chronic sinusitis with catarrhal or purulent inflammation from a simple form to a severe purulent process. The use of the drug is also indicated for inflammatory processes in the paranasal sinuses, both separately and in combination with other diseases of the nasal cavity and paranasal areas. The medicine is recommended for adults over 16 years of age in the absence of contraindications.

Contraindications to the use of Sinufort are hypersensitivity to certain components of the drug (including cyclamen), cystic polyposis rhinosinus, allergic rhinopathological conditions and thrombocytopenic purpura. Admission should be postponed in the presence of allergic reactions to the mucous membrane of the face and conjunctiva, sinus headache and arterial hypertension
