Hibiscus petal syrup is a unique biologically active product of natural origin that has a wide range of medicinal properties. Decoctions, infusions and mate made from the leaves and flowers of the plant have been a common treat and tea product for hundreds of millions of people around the world for many millennia. In addition, hibisus leaves in the form of essential oil are a recognized component of perfumery products: perfumes, colognes, scented candles, soaps and fragrances for various leather products. More than a hundred countries have already been noted in the list of regions where hibiscus grows, and extracts of the leaves of this plant are actively used not only in perfumery, but also in cosmetology. Gama concentrate, made directly from the flower, is used to produce incense candles, carpet and tooth cleaners, and furniture and clothing polishes. The main allergen is the dry petals themselves; when they die, they begin to emit a pungent odor that irritates the human respiratory system. This is why it is often not recommended to use open fresh bouquets at home. But essential oil produced by steam distillation is absolutely safe in terms of side effects. Just remember: unlike natural oils, such as lemon or grapefruit, the molecules in hibiscus essence are synthetic.
