Bladder displacement and relaxation

Displacement of the bladder is recognized by its movement out of place, and its relaxation is recognized by the involuntary release of urine. Displacement sometimes depends on moisture or it depends on winds, a blow on the back or a fall, and relaxation occurs due to known causes of relaxation. Relaxation or displacement is sometimes followed by either difficulty urinating or urinary incontinence, depending on whether the muscle has experienced tension or expansion.

Treatment. If this happens as a result of a blow or a fall, then it is difficult to cure the disease, and sometimes this is possible with the help of cooling and stretching, or with warming and drying medicines, which will be mentioned. When sick due to a paralytic nature, it helps to empty the thin mucous juices, abstain from what produces them, and follow the regimen prescribed to the paralytic with regard to eating, drinking, moving, and the like. Vomiting also helps with this, at least through white hellebore. If the urine does not come out correctly, then stronger astringents should be used, without achieving great relaxation, but on the contrary, combining dissolution with contraction, by analogy with the treatment of paralysis. The patient is given everything that thickens the aqueous humor, makes it oily and forms praiseworthy hot and thick blood, for example, faludaj. If urination occurs as usual or is slightly difficult, then it is necessary to use several relaxing agents, while achieving good dissolution and a strong tearing effect.

Drinking medicines that are useful for all varieties of this disease resulting from falls and paralysis include: teryak, mithridat, shajaziyya, diakurkum, amrusiya, dabid, kuskum, kufi, as well as chamomile, syt, incense - together or separately - and Magaleb cherry. In addition, a decoction of fresh rue seeds or its flower boiled in wine, twig and its seeds, opopanax and cumin helps. Sometimes it is useful, especially with accompanying difficulty urinating, to take a handful of dry melon peels with sugar. Among the medicines that act in the same way and are classified as drugs with special properties are dried hare testicles, which are drunk with fragrant wine, or the burnt larynx of a rooster, taken on an empty stomach with lukewarm water. As for injection products, these are, for example, rue oil, bush oil, bay oil, spikenard and jasmine oil, mad cucumber oil and pine oil mixed with something like beaver stream, stinking ferula gum, galbanum, opopanax. These substances are also good for rubbing into the pubis and abdominal walls, especially tapsia oil mixed with fragrant spices.

Medicinal dressings. As for the dressings, they are prepared from hot medicines with somewhat astringent properties, such as, for example, syt, Chinese cinnamon, bdelium, sumbul and nutmeg with chamomile, wormwood and honey. They are also treated with warming enemas prepared from centaury, coloquint, castor bean and other substances, with the mentioned oils. Swimming in sea water and bathing in hot springs helps a lot with this.
