Social insurance

Social insurance is a system of state material support for workers, which is one of the most important elements of social protection of the population. This system is a set of measures aimed at providing financial support to citizens in the event of temporary or permanent disability, as well as payment of child care benefits and compensation for damage resulting from industrial accidents or occupational diseases.

In Russia, social insurance was introduced in 1912. Since then, this system has undergone a number of changes and additions. Currently, social insurance in Russia is mandatory and applies to all citizens working under an employment contract.

The social insurance system includes several types of benefits and compensation that are paid to citizens in the event of certain circumstances. For example, in case of temporary disability, a temporary disability benefit is paid, in case of the birth of a child - a lump sum benefit for the birth of a child, in case of an accident at work - a one-time insurance payment and a monthly insurance payment.

However, the social insurance system is not perfect. There are a number of problems associated with its functioning. One of these problems is insufficient funding of the system, which leads to delays in the payment of benefits and compensation. There are also problems with the quality of service provided to citizens by social insurance agencies and with the availability of information about the system.

To solve these problems, it is necessary to improve the social insurance system, improve its financing, improve the quality of service to citizens and expand the availability of information about the system for all categories of the population.

Social insurance is a system of measures developed by the state aimed at protecting the population in the event of certain social risks that may arise as a result of a temporary or permanent loss of the opportunity to earn a livelihood. In the event of an increased need for assistance, it will be possible to use the insurance funds that were accumulated in advance for this purpose. Social payments associated with temporary difficulties in the functioning of the social system due to the emergence of social risks are something that cannot be described in terms of understanding this phenomenon without the presence of a wide level of socio-psychological awareness of those aspects of the structure of social payments that contain content inaccessible to the majority of ordinary people. When certain social relations arise (during the development of social relations), their interpretation from the position of consciousness and social psychology often leads to completely unacceptable consequences due to its lack of understanding of social problems in their various manifestations and depending on which aspect of social life is considered. One of the problems of such a deficiency is that, when resolving issues related to the meaning and essence of certain concepts, we cease to be aware of the fact that any concept in different socio-historical situations is considered within the framework of completely different theories. All these concepts, for example, “law”, “politics”, “social psychology”, are one of the many concepts that have a universal meaning and significance for all social science. Therefore, the solution to all issues is at the intersection of many sciences, is complex in nature and involves a large amount of specific historical material. Most issues are better clarified than resolved. This is especially true for one of the most complex problems of man, the social construction of life, social psychology, sociology and politics. Greater social heterogeneity is dictated by the presence of socially expressed differences in the world of work. Therefore, labor in its typical form can be considered as a production activity and at the same time as a social factor in the living conditions of able-bodied groups of the population, and within an individual family - also in the production and reproduction of labor power in its unity of three aspects: man, his labor efforts and means of labor, with whom a person interacts in the process of this activity.

This is the broadest aspect of social problems that arise when solving problems related to social psychology. They clearly appear when studying the entire system of concepts about labor, labor and work activity, social and labor
