Sodium Nitroprusside

Sodium nitride is a drug from the group of peripheral vasodilators. It is used to improve blood supply to muscles, treat hypertension and as a means to relieve vascular spasms in cases of poisoning by poisonous plants. It is also used during surgical interventions to achieve the effect of controlled hypothermia.
