Spinotuberous Pathway Lateral

The lateral spinal tuberculous tract is one of the information transmission pathways in the central nervous system that connects the spinal cord to the thalamus and further to the cerebral cortex. This pathway plays an important role in processing sensory information, particularly pain, temperature, and touch.

The spinotuboral tract Lateral consists of two main parts: the spinothalamus and the thalamocortical tract. The spinothalamus is the part of the spinal cord that transmits sensory information to the thalamus. The thalamocortical pathway, in turn, transmits this information to the cerebral cortex for further processing.

Normally, the spinal tuberculous tract works very efficiently and allows us to receive accurate information about our sensations. However, if this pathway is damaged or there are diseases associated with it, problems with processing sensory information may occur. For example, with Parkinson's disease, which affects the spinal cord, patients may have difficulty controlling their movements and feeling pain.

The spinobogular tract of the lateral spinothalamic tract (lat. tractus spinotalamicus lateraїs) is an anatomical formation of the spinal cord located in the lateral cord of the spinal cord in the lumbosacral region. It is believed to form part of the spinothalamic system with numerous connections in the brainstem and limbic structures, involved in the perception of pain and temperature.
