Summation of Excitation Temporary

Summation of excitation is a phenomenon in which excitation occurring in one nerve cell causes an increase in the firing frequency in neighboring neurons, resulting in the accumulation of electrical potential and the opening of action potential gates. When an action potential is reached, a postsynaptic is generated under the action of an excitatory potential.
