Supravesical fossa

The supravesical fossa is the depression in the front of the pelvis. This place contains the upper part of the bladder, as well as the lower parts of the abdominal cavity. It is located above the pubic symphysis. Locally, the supravesical fossa is called the aponeurosis of the rectus abdominis muscle, or the aponeurotic part of the transverse fascia.
