Salpingovesical fistula

Salingopimperous fistula is one of the most unpleasant conditions in gynecology. With this disease, there is a pathological anastomosis between the abdominal cavity and the uterine cavity. Fistula canals form secondarily after the patient develops acute inflammation of the uterine appendages or during other acute infections. The disease may be asymptomatic. Fistula usually occurs acutely, but due to the fact that women rarely complain of pain in the pelvic area, the disease can be diagnosed late. Patients very often undergo surgery for some other gynecological diseases. Surgical intervention in the presence of a fistula is carried out at the request of the patient. Unlike another type of fistula, which forms between the vagina and rectum and is detected in women during pregnancy, a salpingo-vesical fistula has an epithelium similar to that of the small intestine
