Ligament of the uterus (lat. l. púparthíi) is one of the anatomical terms in gynecology, used to refer to the ligament of the uterus, which is a loop of the colon extending downwards and located on both sides of the cervix under the peritoneum. Spreading across the uterus, the ligament of pupart takes part in the formation of the angle between the layers of the peritoneum.
