Baveno's disease is a rare disease, also called erythema induratum, that occurs in young women. Characteristic manifestations of the disease are painful subcutaneous nodules on the lower leg, which can scar or ulcerate without any therapeutic effect. This pathology has not yet been studied well enough, but what is known today suggests that this disease does not have one obvious cause and can manifest itself in different forms. In addition, symptoms of the disease can appear in anyone of any age.
