Thalasso

Thalassa (Greek Θαλάσσα, Latin Thalassa) or thalas means “sea”, which is translated from Greek as sea.

The term "thalassa" is applied to any sea and most often to the warm seas of the Tropical and Subtropical regions of the Earth to denote their role in the origin of the Earth, the formation of the climate and landscape of the ancient Earth. The term Thalass is also found.
