Dosage forms - capsules 250mg, capsules 500mg, powder for suspension 125mg/5ml, powder for suspension 250mg/5ml, granules for oral suspension 0.25g/5ml
Composition - Active substance - cefaclor.

Indications for use - Infectious diseases caused by sensitive pathogens - infections of the upper and lower respiratory tract, skin, soft tissues, bones and joints, gonorrhea, acute otitis media, endometritis, prevention of postoperative microbial complications.

Contraindications - Hypersensitivity to beta-lactam antibiotics, severe renal failure, leukopenia, hemorrhagic syndrome.

Side effects - Dyspeptic syndrome, dizziness, headache, acute renal failure, increased levels of renal transaminases in the blood serum, candidomycosis, allergic reactions (itching, rash, eosinophilia).

Interaction - The effect is increased by aminoglycosides, metronidazole, polymyxins, rifampicin, weakened by chloramphenicol, tetracyclines. Increases the nephrotoxicity of butadione, aminoglycosides, polymyxins. Cholestyramine reduces absorption.

Overdose - Symptoms: abdominal cramps, nausea, vomiting, severe diarrhea with mucus or blood in the stool, convulsions. Treatment: Overdose is rarely life-threatening. If more than prescribed dose is taken, tell your doctor, poison center, or emergency room.

Special instructions - Should be prescribed with caution in case of impaired renal function, malabsorption syndrome.
