Flowing

What is a weaver? In colloquial speech this word is often replaced by **teka** or **tekka**. Therefore, it is often confused with spirits tequila or other alcoholic products. But these are different concepts. Teka is an abbreviation. If you read it in Latin - TEKA, you get "tek" (*"tek"*). “Tek” is an abbreviation for another English word “*Threat Intelligence Capabilities and Advise*” (in Russian it can be translated as “*Advanced capabilities and information security consulting services*”). This is the name of the project *ThreatIntelligence.us* from *Palantir Technologies*. And in order to maintain brevity when talking about this phenomenon - “Tek”. Moreover, recently news agencies such as Reuters or Bloomberg have included it in their headlines.

The Tek project, created in Russia by the Borlas company, performs several main functions: threat analytics, building an architecture based on artificial intelligence, preparing information for managers and analysts. These functions are directly related to ensuring the country's information security. When shortened to an acronym, it becomes **"Tek"**. Sounds similar to the word “tek-tek”, so “Teka” is a more acceptable and accurate option. People develop associations with tequilo, which means the meaning becomes broader. This calls into question the correctness of such a reduction. Perhaps in the future “Tek” will finally become completely “Tek-Tek”, but for now people call it with this illogical word.
