Ter-Egiazarova Shina

Nadezhda Mikhailovna Ter-Egiazarova is a Russian financier and economist, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, director of the Federal Research Financial Institute of the Ministry of Finance of Russia. She was born in 1942 in the city of Baku. In 1960 she entered Azerbaijan State University, and then continued her education in graduate school at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov. After graduating from graduate school, Nadezhda returned to Baku and began working at the Institute of Mathematics named after. N.I. Mamirashvili as a junior researcher. During these years, she published several scientific articles on the theory of pricing, inter-industry balance, income distribution and a number of other economic topics.

In 1979, Nadezhda moved to Moscow and became an employee of the Institute of Economics of the USSR Academy of Sciences (now the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences), where she worked in the field of macroeconomic theory and modeling. She became known for her research into financial models of government and corporate finance, including the modeling of tax and budget policies, and the development of key mechanisms that control the temporary balance of government budgets. In the 90s, she worked at the Center for Economic and Financial Research and Development (CEFIR). At CEFIR she founded a laboratory for calculating economic and mathematical models
