Thoracographer

A thoracograph is a medical device that is used to diagnose and treat diseases of the lungs and heart. It allows you to obtain information about the condition of the patient’s lungs and heart, as well as the functioning of the respiratory system.

A thoracograph consists of two main parts: a sensor and a monitor. The sensor is installed on the patient's chest, and the monitor is located at a distance from him. The sensor transmits information about the functioning of the lungs and heart to the monitor, where it is displayed in the form of graphs and diagrams.

Using a thoracograph, you can determine the presence of pneumonia, bronchospasm, heart failure and other diseases. In addition, a thoracograph is used to monitor the condition of patients after lung or heart surgery.

To obtain more accurate information about the condition of the lungs and heart, the thoracograph can be supplemented with other devices, such as a spirometer or echocardiograph.

In general, a thoracograph is an important tool in medicine, which allows you to quickly and accurately diagnose diseases of the lungs and heart, as well as monitor the condition of patients after operations on these organs.

The name of this device speaks for itself: “thoraxgraph”. The purpose of this device is to help diagnose diseases associated with the chest. The chest and pleura have a huge number of functions that are performed by different parts of its structure. A three-dimensional picture of the location of organs becomes possible thanks to a thoracic examination using this device. Parts considered may include: lungs, trachea, pleura, ribs and sternum. Taking into account the fact that they are in close contact, careless handling can easily cause harm to the soft body without damaging the skeleton - the thorax. For these purposes, a special thoracograph apparatus is used, which will protect patients during the examination.

Thoracograph is an electrographic complex for screening and diagnosing pulmonary fibrosis, designed for carrying out stress tests with software controlled breathing and recording the patient’s respiratory movements. The basis for assessing the performance of the device is a special indicator of vital activity assessment (VIA) - the coefficient of respiratory productivity CPR - the value of which, in case of asymmetrical ventilation failure, remains unchanged in value from the initial to the end point of registration.
