**Toxidermia** (from ancient Greek τόξον - “arrow; bolt” and δέρμα - “skin”) is a toxic, allergic skin disease. In this case, not only the skin is affected, but also rarely the conjunctiva, cornea of the eyes, mucous membrane of the nose and oropharynx, gastrointestinal disorders are possible, and allergic diseases of the upper respiratory tract and bronchitis are often observed. More often develops in children. Manifestations of toxicoderma, as a rule, are clearly related to allergen exposure. Less common are variants of skin toxicerma with atypical or uncharacteristic manifestations without their connection with contact with a specific substance.
The diagnosis is made by a dermatologist.
