Toxicology Military

Military toxicology is an important branch of military health and toxicology. He studies the pathogenesis of damage to the human body by toxic and harmful substances, exposure to aggressive liquids and develops methods for their diagnosis, prevention and treatment. In a broad sense, military toxicology is the study of the biological effects of toxic, harmful substances

Introduction: Military toxicology is an important section of a special medical discipline devoted to the treatment of military diseases resulting from the use of toxic substances that act on a living organism and used for military purposes. They can be artillery ammunition, bacteriological agents (biological weapons) and toxic chemicals. The goal of military medical research is to find effective methods for preventing and combating combat injuries, including the latest developments that have arisen in the field of biotechnology and pharmacology.

Anatomical Therapeutic and Health Hazardous Chemicals Poisonous agents used by humans against humans may have different modes of action. In our article, chemical poisons will be called poisons that, when interacting with liquid media, release water-soluble substances. Representatives of this class have many common properties. In the mechanism of poisoning, they do not act through disruption of local blood flow or penetration into the heart, brain or pulmonary structures. Their effect is usually to delay the excretion of water, sodium ions, chlorine, potassium and other substances from the body. Such a malfunction within the body leads to serious conditions in the affected person. The situation is aggravated by the indiscriminate action of various pathogens, which include bacteria, fungi, viruses that cause infectious diseases, tissue necrosis and the growth of malignant tumors. Some substances, according to their effects, can be divided into groups: toxins; pesticide; chemical warfare agents. Toxins can contain both animal and plant biological organisms; they pose a dangerous threat to us when introduced externally. Pesticides are produced through synthesis, which is carried out by some microorganisms. Chemical warfare agents are toxic compounds created in laboratories. When administered to a person, they penetrate inside and settle in tissues at a toxic level, or participate in the immune system. Certain substances have the opposite effect.
