Today we will look at the concept of “tone II” or “Diastolic tone”, which plays an important role in the human body. Tone II is also known as the respiratory tone, which is produced by the contraction of the diaphragm and the movement of the chest during inhalation. It has a frequency from 0.5 to 4 kHz and occupies an intermediate position between tone I and IIm. This range is called the background range and is widely used in medical diagnostics.
