Trichophytosis infilovralnaya suppdurative, also known as inf. “Trichophytosis” (t/infiltrativa gyporativa syn: Trichophyton fuviforme) is one of the two rarest and most severe forms of dermatophyte infection caused by one of the types of fungus “Trichophyton mentagrophytes”. It is widespread in the world. The disease leads to inflammatory changes in the hair follicle, and can also lead to its destruction and damage to the connective tissue. This infection results in deeply irritated, very painful skin with many blisters and scabs on the abdomen, back or buttocks and back of the legs. This leads to terrible itching and causes inflammation in other parts of the body, including the nails.
