Trimester

Trimester - (in obstetrics) a period of three months constituting one third of human pregnancy (first, second and third trimesters, respectively).

The trimester divides the pregnancy period into three equal periods of three months each. This allows you to more accurately determine the timing of fetal development and monitor the progress of pregnancy.

In the first trimester (1-12 weeks), fertilization of the egg, implantation of the embryo and formation of the placenta and main organs of the fetus occur.

In the second trimester (13-27 weeks), the growth and development of organs continues, and fetal movements appear. A screening ultrasound examination is performed.

In the third trimester (28-40 weeks), the maturation of the fetal organs is completed, it gains weight and prepares for birth. At the end of the trimester, childbirth becomes possible.

Thus, trimesters make it possible to structure the period of pregnancy for better monitoring of the mother’s condition and fetal development.

A trimester is a period of three months that makes up one third of pregnancy. It begins at the end of the first trimester and ends in the second trimester. In obstetrics, the term “trimester” is used to describe this period of pregnancy.

The first trimester begins from the moment of conception and continues until the 12th week of pregnancy. This is the time when fetal development and the formation of major organs and systems occur. During the first trimester, a woman may experience nausea, fatigue, and other pregnancy-related symptoms.

The second trimester begins after the 12th week and continues until the end of the 3rd trimester. During this period, the fetus begins to actively grow and develop, and the uterus begins to increase in size. During the second trimester, women may experience back and abdominal pain, as well as digestive problems.

The third trimester begins at the end of the 2nd trimester and continues until delivery. During this period, the uterus continues to increase in size, and the pregnant woman's belly becomes larger. The third trimester can be the most difficult period of pregnancy, as a woman may experience abdominal pain, insomnia and other problems.

A trimester is a period of pregnancy consisting of three parts of equal duration. In the first trimester, a woman may not yet be aware of her situation. However, during this period, significant changes occur in the body of a pregnant woman, which prepare her for bearing a child.

The first trimester begins immediately after conception and lasts until the 13th week of pregnancy. This is the time when the foundation is laid for the future development of the child, since at this stage embryonic organs are actively developing. In addition, it is in the first trimester that the placenta is formed, which is the main supplier of oxygen and nutrients to the fetus.

During the first trimester, a woman may experience various physical and emotional changes. Many women experience symptoms of hormonal changes, such as increased skin pigmentation, changes in hair and nails, increased appetite and mood swings. There are also certain risks associated with the first trimester, such as an increased risk of miscarriage and morning sickness.

The second trimester of pregnancy lasts from 14 to 27
